ROAD – Regional Objectives of Administrative Development

The Overall aim of ROAD project is to enhance local development strategy of Kyrgyz and Turkmen civil servants through improving their competencies by creating a f2f and virtual training and counselling campus and recommendations for sustainable development, in particular to carry out a competency training framework for local civil servants, to create training and counselling centers, to train local civil servants in local development trends, to create guidelines and recommendations for local development strategy and to create and implement an online virtual Campus.

The Project is funded under the Erasmus+ KA2 – Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices: Capacity Building in Higher Education (574243-EPP-1-2016-1-PT-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP), coordinated by Técnico Lisboa in partnership with Issykkul State University Named After K.Tynystanov, Ishenaly Arabaev Kyrgyz State University, Jalal-Abad State University, Capacity Building Consulting Group, International University For The Humanities And Development, Turkmen State Institute Of Finance, Universitat Politecnica De Catalunya, Universitat Rovira I Virgili, Escola D’administració Pública De Catalunya, Universidad De Las Palmas De Gran Canaria, and Kungliga Tekniska Hoegskolan.

PEOPLE – Promoting Educational Organisation through people

To reinforce top and middle managers of higher education institutions competencies by developing a human resource (HR) management and staff development strategy focusing the challenges the economic transition process of the partner countries and globalization are impacting higher education institutions. PEOPLE is a TEMPUS project (UE: 543657-TEMPUS-1-2013-1-KZ-TEMPUS-JPGR) with nine partner universities (3 CLUSTER institutions, four of Kazakhstan, three Armenian and two Georgian): KazEU, UPC, IST, KTH, kazATC, PSU, KSMU, ASUE, AUA, KU, ISU.

MIND – Management Innovation and Development

The project aims to strengthen capacity building by establishing Career Centres at the HEI, to assist students, graduates and postgraduates in establishing and operating start-ups and creating (jobs at) innovative small and medium-sized enterprises. The project is funded under the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in higher Education program (EU (561359-EPP-1-2015-1-ES-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP)) with the following partners: ULPGC; KNU; CBC; OshTU; Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic; TUIT; BUXDU; SAU; Ministry of Education of Uzbekistan; UPC; UNIGE.

REDEEM – Reforming Dual Degree Programms for Employability and Enhanced Academic Cooperation

The main goal of the REDEEM progam is to define good practice in dual degree courses in order to improve international cooperation and the employability of its graduates. REDEEM project is funded under Erasmus +Strategic Partnership program (EU (561359-EPP-1-2015-1-ES-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP), in partnership with KIT, TUD, UPC, UCL, POLITO, KTH.

SUMUP – Strategic University Management: Unfolding Practices

Fosters higher education institutions to share their university strategic management systems in order to combine and co-generate improvement approaches and tools for a common-understanding and transparent European framework for strategic university management. SUMUP is funded under the ERASMUS Life Long Learning program (UE: 517868-LLP-1-2011-1-ES-ERASMUS-EMGR) in partnership with five CLUSTER Universities: UPC, KUL, KTH, IST, Aalto.

QUESTESI – Quality System of S&T Universities for sustainable Industry

Improve the education of leaders in S&T HEI, and in doing so, enhance the quality of graduates entering industry and entrepreneurship.Launch a revolution in higher education methodology, content and organization to better respond to the needs for progressive and sustainable industry in the EU (2009 Review EU Sustainable Development Strategy). FOLLOW – Promotion and Follow-up of Graduate Employability in European HEIs

To improve the quality and to increase the volume of co-operation between HEIs and enterprises. The project relies on the exchange of information and experience between the partners. Cooperation is the key word both in the execution of the project and on the outcomes, which are expected to be a synergy between the best practices of each partner that can be capitalized to enhance the HEI graduate employability on a European level. FOLLOW is funded under the ERASMUS Life Long Learning program (UE: 518710-LLP-1-2011-1-PT-ERASMUS-EAM), in partnership with KUL, POLITO and UPC.

ATTRACT – Enhance the Attractiveness of Studies in Science and Technology

To discuss recruitment of students to engineering education and how the retention of students can be improved. ATTRACT will conduct development work within four different areas: The attractiveness of being an engineer, Formal hinders, Attracting students to studies in science and technology /engineering education, and Student retention. ATTRACT is funded under the ERASMUS Life Long Learning program (UE: 505330-LLP-1-2009-1-SE-KA1-KA1SCR), in partnership with seven CLUSTER Universities plus two Swedish universities.

Aseguramiento de la Calidad: Políticas Públicas y Gestión Universitaria

Evaluar el impacto de los mecanismos de aseguramiento de la calidad (AC) en la perspectiva de políticas públicas, y desarrollar capacidades para una mejor gestión de la calidad de la educación superior (ES): conocer la eficacia y pertinencia relativas de los distintos mecanismos utilizados para asegurar y mejorar la calidad de la ES en América Latina, contribuir al diseño de políticas públicas tendientes a mejorar la gestión de calidad de la ES, desarrollar capacidades entre los distintos actores vinculados com el AC. Proyecto financiado por el programa ALFA (UE: ALFA DCI-ALA/2008/42) en asociación con las instituciones miembros de CINDA y otros (19 de América Latina y de seis Europea).
